    Prof. Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed ,President of Aswan University opened The discussion session with the business community in the governorate to discuss developments in the labor market in Aswan, in the presence of Prof. Ayman Othman, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Which is organized by the University Center for Professional Development UCCD at Aswan University under the title “A round table with business owners in the governorate to discuss the impact of the global Corona pandemic on the labor market and the changes that have occurred in the field of employment for university graduates.”<\/span>
    \nDuring the meeting, Dr. Ahmed Ghallab welcomed the attendees from representatives of the sectors of education, health, contracting, construction, mining and business sectors, as well as commercial companies and entrepreneurship projects in the governorate.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Dr. Ahmed Ghellab, President of Aswan University, added: \u201cAswan University is also inseparable from society and the surrounding environment, as well as the business community in its various sectors, which are working hard to serve them by continuous communication to link the university to the needs of the labor market. The round table discussed developments in the labor market as a result of the global Corona crisis. And its impact on employment requirements, whether in the near or far future We try to serve our students and graduates to keep abreast of developments and to be qualified to keep up<\/span>
    \nEng. Amr Tawfiq, a representative of one of the companies, added that we are proud of these meetings and find them of high value and are happy that the university is working on studying the reality of the labor market, especially in light of great global changes.<\/span>
    \nThe meeting witnessed an open dialogue about the possibility of benefiting from qualified graduates.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Dr. Ahmed Ghallab referred to the importance of supporting the “University Centers for Professional Development” project supported by the USAID and implemented by the American University in Cairo, and the importance of regular meetings since 2019 in the various universities to link universities with the requirements and developments of the labor market and raise the centers’ efficiency in helping students and graduates In cooperation with the International Labor Organization.<\/span><\/p>\n

    It is worth noting that Aswan University participated in the first virtual forum for employment under the auspices of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, in which 15 university centers in ten Egyptian governmental universities participated and achieved great success despite the pandemic conditions. One of the most important topics discussed in the round table<\/span>
    \nThe first axis, repercussions of the Corona pandemic on the labor market in Aswan<\/span>
    \nAnd the second axis<\/span>
    \nMechanisms of work and employment after Corona and the third axis to what extent educational outcomes achieve economic viability for companies, the fourth axis, future trends of employment in Aswan.<\/span><\/p>\n
