Brief for Department:
Community Health Nursing is based on the belief that health is for all, through preventing the spread of disease, improving health protection and health education for families and individuals. The field of application of health nursing extends in several aspects, including governmental and non-governmental organizations, homes, schools and factories, through and from this application the community health nurse deals with different cultures and coordinates with health service providers in the community. Directing special health care for people with chronic health problems through the first level of care, including reducing the factors that help spread diseases, improving health and protecting against diseases. The second level of care includes early detection of diseases, giving appropriate treatment and minimizing complications. The third level of care includes maintaining health and professional and psychological rehabilitation to adapt to the disability resulting from the disease.
