Aswan University handovers two research projects from development projects to the Ministry of Higher Education

Prof. Ahmed Ghallab Mohammed-Aswan University President said that today, Tuesday Aswan University handovers two student excellence projects at the Faculty of Energy Engineering, and the Faculty of Agriculture& Natural Resources. The project of the Faculty of Energy Engineering comes under the title” Converting the lighting system of the educational institution into a smart system powered by solar energy”, Prof. Ahmed Ghallab-Aswan University President added that the project aims to transfer the solar power to electrical power, while the second project aims to provide the generating power from the solar cells in practical and scientific objects and other purposes by nearly 50%.
The Project of the Faculty of Agriculture entitled” Developing the value chain and every recipe in the medicinal and aromatic plants at Aswan Governorate” the project aims to raise the youth’s awareness of the value-added chain and transactions post-harvest, and train students on extracting fixed and aromatic oils by various ways of extraction.
Dr. Nadie Kamal Aziz-Director of the Center for Quality Assurance and Accreditation at Aswan University explained that two projects have been delivered from the Ministry of Higher Education in the presence of Dr. Khaled bin Al-Walid Abdel-Fattah-Vice Dean of the Faculty of Science, Qena, South Valley University, Nadi Dr. Kamal Aziz Gerges, and the deans of the faculties and the advisors of the two projects.
