Aswan University headed by Prof.Ahmed Ghallab -Aswan University President organized a medical convoy to New Aswan City in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth& Sport in the presence of Dr. Magdy Mohamed Ali- Vice President for Community Service & Environmental Development, Dr.Mohamed Sobhi-General Director of the Medical Administration, Hatem Youssry- General Director of Care Central Youth. During the inspection of the convoy, Prof.Ahmed Ghallab confirmed the importance of the social role of the university towards the university and the surrounding environment, working on reducing the burden on the shoulders of Aswan People.
Prof.Ahmed Ghallab added that today, Wednesday, the works of convoy started in New Aswan City and the surrounding areas at the west of Aswan, El Kobaneya village, Tawil Eye Center (Daraw) to conduct medical checks for sick cases of the people until the number of cases reached to 800 cases from patients; Aswan University President directed to refer critical cases to University Hospital.
Dr. Magdy Mohamed Ali- Vice President for Community Service & Environmental Development explained that Community Service & Environmental Development Sector prepared a plan for several Medical Convoys for the various areas in the governorate.
Dr.Mohamed Sobhi-General Director of the Medical Administration explained that the convoy includes 11 specializations (Ophthalmic-Analyzes-Dermal-Bones-Internal Disease-Heart-Teeth-Gynecology-Surgery-Pediatrics-Ear, Nose and Throat), as well as a free remedy, has been provided for all cases that were examined. Sobhi explained that according to the instructions of Prof.Ahmed Ghallab -Aswan University President another medical convey will be prepared to Nasr Al Noba Center-Onaiba for serving Aswan people.
