Within the framework of the state’s directives to extend the roots of cooperation and cultural and knowledge exchange between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the peoples of the whole world. The Office of International Cooperation at Aswan University, under the auspices of Prof. Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed- Aswan University President, with the participation of the Spanish Ministry of Education, given an educational lecture to primary school students in Spain entitled ”Egypt and its civilizational and cultural history throughout the ages”.
Dr. Ahmed Ghallab added during his speech about Egypt’s historical and cultural position and its picturesque tourist destinations,
and the importance of the cultural, cognitive, and enlightening role that Aswan University plays towards the local, regional, and international community.
In this context, the official of the International Cooperation Office at Aswan University given an introductory and educational lecture to primary school students in the sisterly country of Spain, and this lecture comes within the framework of educating the European youth about Egypt’s status, civilization, culture and distinguished tourist location that has enjoyed with it among the countries of the world, and the lecture also included ways of joint tourism cooperation and how to support it between Egypt and Spain by explaining and clarifying Egypt’s unique tourist map and the archaeological sites.
Dr.Ayman Othman-Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research indicated that this lecture comes within the framework of knowledge and education, and it is worth noting that Aswan University has held many cultural, scientific, and research partnerships and the exchange of experiences with a number of Spanish universities, which had a positive impact on the noted scientific progress at Aswan University.
Dr. Hazem El-Gamal- the Responsible for International Cooperation at Aswan University, explained that this lecture is considered an enrichment of the knowledge and education sides for some schools of the Spanish Ministry of Education about Egypt and its civilization, and the lecture was given via video conference technology under the title of ”Ancient Egypt in terms of civilization and culture, modern Egypt and its development in all fields” under the leadership of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi- President of the Republic, through presenting the national projects that the state undertakes. The lecture won great admiration and response from the participating students and professors who wanted to repeat another lecture for middle and high school students.
