Today, on Wednesday, Prof.Ahmed Ghallab-Aswan University President participated in the cycling Marathon that is organized by the Faculty of Physical Education in cooperation with the Central Administration of the Youth Welfare in the University under the patronage of Prof.Khaled Abdul Ghaffar-Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, under the supervision of Dr.Sobhay Mohammed Hassanein- Vice Chairman of Sports Union for the universities, Dr. Hisham Al-Jusi-Secretarite of Union.
Prof.Ahmed Ghallab-Aswan University President stressed that this Marathon is organized within the framework of the initiative of the President of the Republic-Abdul Fattah Al Sisi under the slogan ”Sport is National Security”, and the keenness of the Sate with Sport and physical fitness for the university’s students, as well as working on activating the students’ activities through applying the plan of the Ministry and the Supreme Council of Universities.
Prof.Ahmed Ghallab added that the events of the Marathon are launched under the slogans ”Sport is Lifestyle” ”For better health”; as well as participated in the Marathon Dr. Majdy Mohammad Ali – Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Adel Makki – Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education, Dr. Mohammad Al-Dawi, and a number of the academic staff and their assistants, and students.
