Prof: Ahmed Ghalab Mohamed-Aswan university president and Dr:Youhansen Eid –head of the national authority for quality assurance of education have signed a cooperation protocol to open the first branch of the authority in Upper Egypt at the university headquarter in new Aswan city.
Ghalab stated that the new branch of the authority will serve pre-university stage of education which includes Azharite schools and institutions, the opening of the branch is considered a big achievement as it serves the educational process not only in Aswan governorate but in the whole area of Upper Egypt. Clarifying that it is the seventh branch of the authority at the republic level and the second one at the level of Upper Egypt after Asyut branch so it saves the difficulty of travel for the teachers in Aswan and the nearby governorates.
Indicating that the opening of the authority branch in new Aswan will have a positive impact on this promising city and will make a huge quantum leap and serves the local community. from her side,Dr: Youhansen Eid assured the authority’s keenness to open new branches of the authority in the different governorates especially in upper Egypt to improve the level of quality of education and its permanent development in accordance with national standards in a transparent manner with the international standards.
She declared that the national authority for quality assurance of education is one of the main pillars of the national plan of education reform in Egypt as the authority is responsible for disseminating the culture of quality in the educational institutions and society and developing the national standards in accordance with the international standards in order to restructuring the educational institutions and improve the quality of them which leads to gain the community trust in it and serve the goals of sustainable development in Egypt.
