On Monday, Prof.Ahmed Ghallab-Aswan University President receives the Korean Ambassador of the State of the South Korea Hong Jin-Wook and the delegation that accompanied him at the campus of New Aswan City, the two sides search the fruitful cooperative ways between Aswan University and the Korean Embassy in Cairo, this visit comes to the department of the Korean Language at the Faculty of Al-sun in Aswan University as the first visit of the Korean Ambassador for Aswan University in the light of the emerging of Corona-virus.
Prof.Ahmed Ghallab confirmed on the depth of the strong and sustainable relationship between the two states throughout spreading the Korean Language in the department of the Korean Language at the Faculty of Al-Sun in New Aswan City and work on supporting the bilateral relations between Aswan University and Korean Universities; the Department of the Korean Language in Aswan University is considered the first one on the level of the Upper South.
Aswan University President points out the importance of the interview in terms of opening new prospects in order to cooperate in several fields such as the technical field especially the scientific faculties that are interested in this section for example Faculty of Energy, Faculty of Energy Engineering, and Faculty of Fisheries Technology; the two sides looks out providing an academic staff for the Department of the Korean Language on the condition of the assistant professor has to fluent in the both languages (Arabic-Korean) to achieve the connection with students.Aswan University President explained throughout the Korean cultural attache, Korean academic staff who are in fluent in Arabic language will be assisted with them to exchange the experiences and support the Department of the Korean Language at the Faculty of Al-Sun.
The Korean Ambassador added the Korean companies that work in and out Egypt aim to that the graduates of the Department of the Korean Language work at the Korean labor market, the Korean companies draw up the Egyptian workers nearly 20 thousand workers; The Korean Ambassador confirmed the annual contest will be announced to choose the distinctive ones and grant them scholarships for students of Aswan University in the Korean Universities.
